Dolomite Lime

An excellent natural soil conditioner that acts the same as Garden Lime but also contains the important nutrient magnesium.

Information
Riverside's Dolomite Lime corrects soil acidity, but if applied in excess it tends to stabilise the soil at a neutral pH. It is therefore the best lime to use where the lime requirement is not known. It promotes plant growth and accelerates the process of composting.

The magnesium in Dolomite Lime remedies deficient, yellowing leaves. It is beneficial to apply when preparing the soil for new gardens. Deepens the colour in pink Hydrangeas.

Note: Keep away from acid loving plants such as Camellias, Azaleas, Magnolia, Rhododendrons, Daphne, blue Hydrangeas, Erica & Gardenias

How To Use
Apply 1/2 cup (200grams)to 1 cup (400grams) Riverside Dolomite Lime per square metre for light sandy loam through to heavy clay loam.
Apply in Autumn & again in early Spring.
Apply before soil is dug or hoe through later.
For heavier applications it is recommended to make two or more lighter applications.
Composting
Spread 1 cup (400grams) per square metre over top layer of compost every four months.

If consumed take water to dilute. Do Not induce vomiting.
Seek medical attention immediately.
Avoid contact with eyes when using.
